Family and Children First Council

Family and Children First Councils convene government, community and families to help prevent and solve problems for children and youth, by focusing on sharing information, planning, brokering partnership and directing collective action. Councils demonstrate that more can be achieved working together than apart. Its purpose is to convene public child-serving systems to work in partnership on improving the wellbeing of children and families and on streamlining and coordinating government services for families seeking assistance for their children.
