Mission Statement
We exist to enhance the lives of children with significant behavioral needs, who are involved in multiple systems, through family-focused, child-centered, strength-based, and culturally competent care in the community.

Applewood Centers, Inc.
Applewood Centers provides behavioral healthcare and social service programs for children and adolescents and their families. Services include: counseling; child and adolescent psychiatric services; community support services; psychological testing; residential services; day treatment; school-based services; early childhood counseling; foster care and adoption; and the Eleanor Gerson School, an alternative high school for teens with emotional issues. Services are delivered at one of Applewood’s five sites, in homes, in schools or elsewhere in the community.
What is our role in Cuyahoga Tapestry System of Care?
Applewood Centers receives Tapestry referrals for outpatient services including counseling and psychiatric services. Applewood can also respond to residential referrals, as needed.
