Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board of Cuyahoga County

The Board is the county government agency which plans, develops, administers and funds through federal, state, and local tax dollars alcohol, and other drug-related education, prevention and treatment services to residents of Cuyahoga County. Currently, the Board contracts with a network of over 50 agencies that provide over 100 programs, which encompass those services. Together, these agencies represent a continuum of care from prevention and early intervention to residential, outpatient, and aftercare treatment services. The Board’s annual budget is $39 million. An 18-member Board of Trustees, comprised of appointed community leaders, provides policy direction.

What is our role in Cuyahoga Tapestry System of Care?
The Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board is a public partner in the system of care, representing the network of services provided by the ADAS Board’s contract service providers.
